Idan, Workforce Specialist
Idan brings a strong background in human resources and organizational support. Originally from Israel, he is fluent in Hebrew and holds a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Human Resource Management from Thompson Rivers University in Kamloops, BC. His experience includes working in post-secondary and government environments, where he developed expertise in stakeholder relations and administrative coordination. At JVS Toronto, Idan oversees employer engagement and business development, managing relationships, posting job opportunities, sharing resumes, coordinating interviews, and facilitating training incentives. Outside of work, Idan enjoys chocolate cakes.

Jennifer, Workforce Specialist
Jennifer offers over 20 years of experience in Human Resources, Recruitment, and Operations Management across the Automotive, Transportation, Defense, and IT sectors. She specializes in matching job seekers with opportunities that align with their skills, experience, and career aspirations. Jennifer applies her extensive industry knowledge and best practices in recruitment to ensure both clients and employers achieve successful outcomes. In her spare time, she enjoys knitting.

Rina, Employment Counsellor
Rina has been an Employment Counsellor at JVS Toronto since 2019, providing individualized guidance and support to job seekers from diverse backgrounds. With a Master’s in Education and a background in teaching, she brings expertise in coaching, assessment, and career mapping. Rina helps clients clarify their career goals, identify transferable skills, and build effective job search strategies, including resume development, interview preparation, and networking. Her approach is rooted in empowerment and collaboration, helping clients build confidence, overcome employment barriers, and achieve meaningful, sustainable employment. When she’s not working with clients, Rina enjoys exploring new hiking trails and spending time with family and friends.
