Welcome to EMET employment – Resiliency Project

Resiliency Project
Due to the fact that Covid-19 hit the Jewish community and affected the lives of many members of our community, the UJA has provided funding to FOUR Toronto based Jewish agencies (JVS Toronto, JIAS Toronto, JACS and Jewish Family and Child Service) to help and support newly vulnerable as a result of the global pandemic.
UJA hopes to ensure community members receive holistic services by leveraging the services and capacities of Jewish community service providers. The goal is to reach more individuals in the community who are in need because of COVID-19.
JVS Toronto and its Jewish program – EMET employment – are now supporting the Jewish community in more aspects, such as partly school funding, tools and equipment, more virtual employment sessions and online hiring events.
